AWEI Y900 Bluetooth Speaker – Yellow Color

Bright, bold, and made to be heard — that is the whole idea behind the AWEI Y900 Bluetooth speaker in yellow. It is a compact portable speaker with a cheerful design: a bright yellow perforated front grille with the awei logo, black silicone top and sides, three simple control buttons, and a handy tan fabric loop for grabbing it on the way out. It sits comfortably between novelty gadgets and serious audio gear — affordable for everyday budgets, tuned for everyday joy, and small enough to live in a backpack pocket.

This page is written from the verified research notes for the speaker, and the listing is for the YELLOW colorway specifically. Every number below comes from those verified notes — nothing here is estimated, and anything not confirmed is stated as omitted rather than guessed.

Design and Build

The awei y900 refuses to blend in. The front is a bright yellow perforated grille framed in black silicone, with three control buttons sitting on top and a tan fabric loop on the corner that makes it genuinely easy to grab and go. It is small, rounded, and friendly — the rare speaker that works as a desk accessory and a travel companion at the same time.

Style is half the point here. The yellow-and-black look pops on a desk, a bookshelf, or a picnic mat, and the silicone shell takes the bumps of everyday carry. Toss it in a bag, hang it from the loop, set it on a study desk — the awei y900 is built for the fun, mobile parts of the day.

The tan loop deserves a mention of its own. Woven fabric, firmly anchored, sized for a finger or a carabiner clip — it turns the speaker into something you can hang on a bag strap, a bunk bed, or a bicycle handlebar. Everyday speakers live or die on small details like this, and the awei y900 gets the details right: rounded edges that do not dig into a bag, buttons you can find by touch, and a silhouette that still looks cheerful after months of daily use.

Sound and Performance

The awei y900 plays 2-channel stereo sound — clear, balanced audio that fills a room, a desk, or a small hangout. It is not trying to be a party monster; it is the speaker for study sessions, addas, morning routines, and everyday listening, where pleasant, even sound matters more than raw volume. For its size, it punches well above its weight.

Stereo separation is the quiet strength of the awei y900. Two drivers working as a proper left-right pair give music a sense of space that single-driver pocket speakers cannot match — acoustic tracks, podcasts, and call audio all sound more natural. Honest note: this is a personal and small-room speaker; for big parties, consider a larger system.

Battery and Charging

The 2500mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery plays 4–8 hours per charge — a full study session, a long commute, or an entire evening of music. The range is honest: moderate volumes stretch toward the 8-hour end, while louder playback lands closer to 4. A full refill takes just 1.5–2 hours, so a quick afternoon charge resets it for the night.

Top the speaker up with a standard charger and unplug once it is full to keep the battery healthy. Because the playtime range is wide, plan for your own habits — background listening at moderate volume easily covers a full day out, while the 1.5–2 hour recharge means even a forgotten charge is a minor problem: plug it in during lunch and it is ready for the afternoon.

Controls and Features

The awei y900 plays almost anything. Bluetooth connects wirelessly up to 10 meters, and the 3.5mm connection covers wired devices — laptops, older phones, MP3 players — with no pairing needed. A built-in microphone answers calls through the speaker, so you never need to grab your phone when a call comes in mid-song.

Control stays physical and simple: three buttons on top handle power, volume, and playback at a press — no app, no touch panel, no learning curve. The speaker pairs quickly, reconnects automatically to the last device, and switches between wireless and wired without fuss. Made for everyday means exactly that.

Specifications

All figures are taken from the verified research notes for the Y900 yellow colorway; the live store listing itself is currently spec-light, so these verified notes are the documented source. The Bluetooth version is not published in the verified notes, so no version is claimed. Weight, dimensions, box contents, and a battery-level display are not published, so they are omitted rather than guessed.

What’s in the Box

The product page and the verified research notes do not publish a box-contents list for this speaker, so this section confirms only the certain item: the AWEI Y900 Bluetooth speaker unit in yellow. If a charging cable or manual matters to your purchase, please confirm exactly what ships with Gadget Superb on Messenger or at care@gadgetsuperb.com before ordering.

What 2-Channel Stereo and a 10-Metre Range Mean in Practice

The specification table lists the awei y900 as a 2-channel stereo speaker, and that single line explains most of how it sounds. Two channels means the music is carried as a left and right pair rather than squeezed through one channel, so instruments and voices sit in slightly different places instead of stacking on top of each other. Vocals come forward more clearly, acoustic tracks breathe a little, and podcasts and call audio sound more natural and less flat. It will not turn a small room into a concert hall, and the page is honest about that, but for desk, bedroom and small-group listening the stereo presentation is a genuine step up from basic single-channel pocket speakers.

The second figure worth translating is the wireless range of up to 10 metres. In a typical flat or office that is enough to leave your phone charging on a desk while the speaker sits across the room, or to carry the speaker from a study table to a balcony without the music dropping. Walls, furniture and crowds can shorten any wireless link, so treat 10 metres as a clear-space maximum rather than a promise through concrete. When you would rather not rely on wireless at all, the 3.5mm AUX input does the same job with a cable and no pairing, which keeps older phones, laptops and MP3 players fully usable.

Those two facts also explain where this speaker fits best. Place it a short distance away rather than right against your ears, give the left-right image a little space to open up, and keep the source device inside that 10-metre circle for the steadiest connection. Listened to that way, the awei y900 is tuned for even, everyday coverage of a personal space, not for blasting a large hall.

Living With It: Study Desk, Bag and Everything Between

On a study desk, the awei y900 earns its place by staying out of the way until you want it. The three buttons on top handle power, volume and playback by touch, there is no app to open and no touch panel to learn, and it reconnects automatically to the last device you paired. Start a playlist when you sit down, pause it from the speaker itself when you need quiet, and take a call through the built-in microphone without reaching for your phone if it rings mid-session. For background listening during revision, chores or morning routines, that friction-free routine matters more than any headline feature.

Between rooms is where the design details start to count. The tan fabric loop on the corner is sized for a finger or a carabiner clip, so you can hang the speaker from a bag strap, a bunk bed or a bicycle handlebar instead of balancing it loose in a pocket. The black silicone top and sides and the rounded edges help it shrug off the small bumps of daily carry, while the bright yellow perforated grille makes it easy to spot in a cluttered bag. It is a speaker made to be grabbed on the way out, whether the destination is a picnic mat, a rooftop adda or a parked car on a road trip.

Good charging habits keep that routine reliable for longer. The 2500mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery is quoted at 4 to 8 hours per charge, and where your own use lands in that range depends mostly on volume: moderate background listening stretches toward the longer end, while louder playback finishes sooner. A full recharge takes only 1.5 to 2 hours with a standard charger, so topping up over lunch resets it for the evening.

Unplug once it is full rather than leaving it connected indefinitely, wipe the grille and silicone with a soft dry cloth, and store it dry, away from rain and splashes. A short top-up is often enough for an evening adda, a film soundtrack or a few hours of study music, so you rarely need to plan the day around the charger.

Inside Dhaka, delivery costs ৳70 and takes 1–3 working days; outside Dhaka, it costs ৳120 and takes 2–5 working days. These are estimates, not guarantees. Your AWEI Y900 ships once you place a cash-on-delivery order.

How does cash on delivery work? Can I check the speaker before paying?

Cash on delivery means you pay the courier in cash when the parcel arrives. Gadget Superb never asks for advance payment, card details, OTPs, or mobile-banking PINs. Couriers generally do not allow opening a parcel before payment, so check your AWEI Y900 right after the courier leaves and contact the store within the 7-day return window if anything is wrong.

How long does the battery really last?

The verified specifications quote 4–8 hours of playtime from the 2500mAh battery. Real-world runtime depends on volume — moderate background listening stretches toward the 8-hour end, while loud playback lands closer to 4. A full recharge takes 1.5–2 hours, so a quick afternoon charge sets the awei y900 up for the evening.

Which color is this listing for?

This listing is specifically for the yellow colorway: a bright yellow perforated front grille with black silicone top and sides, three top buttons, and a tan fabric loop. If you want a different color, check the other variants on Gadget Superb — this page’s price, photos, and description all describe the yellow awei y900 only.

Can I take calls on it?

Yes. The built-in microphone lets you answer calls through the speaker hands-free — handy when your phone is across the room or your hands are full. Call audio comes through the speaker itself, and you hang up from the speaker’s controls.

How do I play music from it?

Pair over Bluetooth for wireless listening up to about 10 meters from your phone — the awei y900 reconnects to the last device automatically. For wired playback, the 3.5mm AUX input takes laptops, older phones, and MP3 players with no pairing needed. If your phone sits across the room, the 10-meter range gives you plenty of roaming space while the music keeps playing. The verified notes do not list TF card or USB playback for this model, so those inputs are not promised here.

Is it good as a gift?

Very much so. The cheerful yellow design, the friendly price point, and the easy controls make the awei y900 a natural small gift for students, friends, and fun lovers. Cash on delivery means the gifter pays nothing in advance, and 7-day easy returns cover you if anything arrives faulty.

What is the price of the AWEI Y900 in Bangladesh?

The current price is shown on the product page and can change during sales, so no figure is quoted here. Check the live AWEI Y900 page on Gadget Superb for today’s price — that is what you pay in cash on delivery, plus the standard delivery fee.

How do I care for my AWEI Y900?

Wipe the yellow grille and black silicone with a soft dry cloth and keep the perforated grille free of dust. Store it dry — this is not a waterproof speaker, so keep it away from rain and splashes. Recharge with a standard charger and unplug once full to keep the 2500mAh battery healthy. If the verified figures here differ from your unit’s manual, the manual wins — treat this page as a guide.

What do the three buttons on top actually do?

The three buttons on top of the awei y900 handle power, volume and playback at a press. There is no app and no touch panel to configure: you switch the speaker on, adjust the level and control your music directly from the unit itself, and the buttons are easy to find by touch without looking down.

Can I hang the speaker up by its fabric loop?

Yes. The tan fabric loop is firmly anchored to the corner of the awei y900 and is sized for a finger or a carabiner clip. Use it to hang the speaker from a bag strap, a bunk bed or a bicycle handlebar, or simply to get a secure grip when you carry it from room to room.

Can I play music from a TF card or USB drive?

No. The verified inputs for this speaker are Bluetooth for wireless listening and the 3.5mm AUX connection for wired devices such as laptops, older phones and MP3 players. TF card and USB playback are not listed in the verified notes for this model, so they are not promised here.
