Hoco EQ34 Plus True Wireless Earbuds

The Hoco EQ34 Plus (listed by some retailers as the “Rima” edition) is a feature-packed pair of true wireless earbuds that brings hybrid ANC, ENC call noise reduction, Bluetooth 5.4 and app control into the budget segment. If you searched for the Hoco EQ34 Plus price in Bangladesh, you’re comparing it against other ANC buds — and its case is strong: about 7 hours per charge with ANC off, about 28 hours total with the case, and a companion app for EQ and touch customization. Browse the full Earbuds & Earphones range at Gadget Superb to compare, but this page is all about the EQ34 Plus.

Per distributor spec sheets, the Hoco EQ34 Plus runs Bluetooth 5.4 on a Jerry AC7003D4 chipset, offers hybrid ANC with transparency and normal modes, ENC for calls, a 300mAh case with 40mAh buds over USB-C, hall-switch auto-pairing, voice-assistant support and multi-device switching. Figures below are manufacturer-claimed via distributors; conflicts are flagged, not smoothed over.

Hybrid ANC: three modes for three situations

The EQ34 Plus offers hybrid ANC — feedforward plus feedback microphones working together — with three listening modes: ANC on, Transparency, and Normal. ANC softens engine drone, office hum and bus rumble; Transparency lets announcements and traffic through without removing the buds; Normal is the passive baseline. One distributor quantifies the reduction at “up to 90%” — treat percentage claims as marketing; the mode system itself is the verified feature.

Honest expectations: hybrid ANC at this price is genuinely useful against steady low-frequency noise and noticeably weaker against sudden sharp sounds and nearby voices. That’s physics, not a defect — flagship multi-system ANC costs several times more. What the EQ34 Plus gives you is real, switchable noise control rather than a vague “noise reduction” label.

Sound quality and drivers

Driver size is the one spec we won’t quote: distributors disagree (10mm vs 13mm), and Hoco’s own materials don’t settle it — so the spec table omits it rather than guessing. What is consistent: dynamic drivers tuned for an energetic mainstream signature, with the companion app’s custom EQ letting you bend the sound toward bass, treble or vocal clarity.

The ANC/Transparency/Normal modes shape the sound too — ANC slightly changes the low-end character, as with all noise-cancelling buds. Try all three modes with your own music; most buyers settle on ANC for commutes, Transparency for streets, Normal for quiet rooms.

Design, fit and comfort

The EQ34 Plus uses a matte-black pebble charging case with a single vertical LED battery strip, a lid-seam notch and USB-C on the bottom edge. The buds are short-stem in-ear with silicone tips and a subtle accent stripe; the whole set weighs about 44.8g. It’s a pocketable, understated design — no RGB, no gloss overload.

Fit is classic in-ear: pick the tip size (S/M/L in the box) that seals without pressure, and both bass and ANC improve immediately. A proper seal is the cheapest sound upgrade there is — most “weak bass” complaints about any earbuds trace back to the wrong tip size.

Battery life and charging case

Battery figures, consistently reported across distributors (manufacturer-claimed):

• Up to ~7 hours per charge with ANC off
• Up to ~6 hours per charge with ANC on
• ~28 hours total with the 300mAh charging case
• 40mAh per earbud, 300mAh case, USB-C charging

The ANC-on penalty — about an hour per charge — is normal: noise cancellation circuitry draws power. If you’re rationing battery on a long travel day, Normal mode stretches each charge. Real-world hours vary with volume, ANC use and app features like find-my polling.

ENC and call quality

Call-side noise reduction is handled by ENC, with distributors describing a multi-mic array and wind-noise reduction. ENC filters your background — traffic, crowds, wind — so your caller hears your voice, not your surroundings. Combined with the stem-mounted mic position, calls stay clear in the noisy places where budget buds usually fall apart.

For the clearest calls, wear both buds (the mic array works as a system) and keep the fit snug so wind doesn’t whistle past the mics. Office and commute callers are the buyers who’ll notice the ENC most.

Connectivity, controls and the companion app

Bluetooth 5.4 (Jerry AC7003D4) with a rated range of 10–15 meters, hall-switch auto-pairing (open the lid, they’re connected), and multi-device switching for hopping between phone and laptop. Touch controls cover music, calls, volume and ANC-mode switching, with Siri and Google Assistant support and single-bud use.

The companion app (listed as the hoco.music app on iOS/Android by distributors) unlocks custom EQ, touch-gesture remapping, ANC-mode control and find-my-earbuds. App support at this price is a genuine differentiator — most budget rivals leave tuning fixed. You can read more about the brand on HOCO’s official site, and compare app-supported rivals in the Gadget Superb shop.

Who the Hoco EQ34 Plus suits best

The EQ34 Plus suits the commuter who wants ANC without the flagship tax, the office worker living on calls (ENC + multipoint is a strong combo), and the tinkerer who’ll actually use the app’s EQ. Students get transparency mode for campus awareness and 28-hour total battery for the week.

Who should look elsewhere: buyers who need a documented water-resistance rating for workouts (none is brand-confirmed — one distributor mentions IPX5, unconfirmed), and anyone who wants driver-size certainty — we omitted it because sources conflict, and we won’t guess.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ANC on the EQ34 Plus real hybrid ANC?

Distributors describe it as hybrid ANC — feedforward plus feedback mics — with ANC, Transparency and Normal modes, which is the standard hybrid setup. No dB depth figure is published, so none is claimed here. Expect strong performance against steady low-frequency noise and weaker results against sudden sharp sounds — normal for the segment.

How long does the battery last with ANC on vs off?

Per manufacturer claims: up to about 7 hours per charge with ANC off, about 6 hours with ANC on, and about 28 hours total with the 300mAh case. The one-hour ANC penalty is normal — the cancellation circuitry draws power. Real-world hours vary with volume and app use.

What does the companion app do?

Distributors list the hoco.music app (iOS/Android) with custom EQ, touch-gesture remapping, ANC-mode control and find-my-earbuds. App support is a real differentiator at this price — most budget rivals have fixed tuning. App availability and features can change with updates, so check the live listing if the app is a deciding factor.

Can I connect to two devices at once?

Multi-device switching is listed in the distributor spec sheets — hop between phone and laptop without re-pairing. Multipoint behavior varies by phone OS and firmware, so if dual-device is critical for your workflow, confirm the current behavior with the store before ordering.

What’s the difference between ANC and ENC here?

ANC quiets what you hear (bus engines, office hum) during music and podcasts; ENC cleans up what your caller hears by filtering background noise around you. The EQ34 Plus has both — they’re different systems doing different jobs, and both are documented for this model.

How do I pair them the first time?

Open the charging case near your phone — hall-switch auto-pairing powers the buds and puts them in pairing mode, then select the EQ34 Plus in Bluetooth settings. After that they auto-connect on lid-open. If pairing fails, return both buds, close the lid for a few seconds, and retry.

Are they good for workouts?

They’re light, secure-fitting in-ear buds, which suits workouts mechanically — but no brand-confirmed IP water-resistance rating exists (one distributor mentions IPX5, unconfirmed). Don’t buy them for sweat-heavy training on water resistance alone; if the rating matters to you, ask the store to confirm before ordering.

How do the touch controls work?

Touch zones on each bud handle music, calls, volume and ANC-mode switching, with Siri and Google Assistant access and single-bud use supported. Gestures are remappable in the companion app per distributors. The default tap map is in the included manual — follow that first.

What Bluetooth version and range?

Bluetooth 5.4 on the Jerry AC7003D4 chipset, with 10–15 meters of rated range per distributors. Version 5.4 brings efficient power use and stable multipoint behavior. Walls and interference shorten practical range, as always.

Is there a warranty on the Hoco EQ34 Plus?

Yes — the Hoco EQ34 Plus comes with a 7-day warranty from Gadget Superb. The store handles warranty claims with your order number; contact the store within 7 days of delivery if anything is wrong (hotline 09638054751, care@gadgetsuperb.com, or Messenger).

How does delivery and cash on delivery work?

Every order is cash on delivery: you pay the delivery person in cash when the parcel arrives, and the store never asks for advance payment or card details. Delivery charges and timelines follow the store’s Delivery & Returns page — inside Dhaka is faster and cheaper than outside Dhaka. Where the courier allows it, you may open the parcel and check the product before you pay.

What is the price, and is it in stock?

Price and stock change with supply, so the live product page is the authority for both — this page never hard-codes them. If the page shows the Hoco EQ34 Plus available, you can order it with cash on delivery and the 7-day return window applies.
