Soft silicone taxi night lamp: overview

The design is the whole charm of this soft silicone taxi night lamp. The listing describes a yellow body shaped like a classic taxi, with a rounded cab silhouette, a smiling face glowing through the front, black-and-white checkered decals along the sides and a little red TAXI sign on the roof. According to the listing, a warm LED lights the cab from within, so the whole shape glows like a lantern.

On a nursery shelf or a kid’s nightstand, the soft silicone taxi night lamp reads as a toy that happens to glow. The listing describes the light as deliberately soft: enough to comfort, never harsh enough to disturb sleep. The light output is listed as under 60 lumens. For night feeds, bathroom trips or nervous bedtimes, that is the kind of gentle glow a late-night routine calls for.

The soft silicone taxi night lamp is best understood as décor with a job. Parents who want a bedside light a child can hold, grandparents who look after grandchildren overnight and adults who want a playful piece for a shelf all fit the design. It looks charming in a room and gives a usable warm light after dark.

If you want general background on how these lights work, read a general overview of LED lamps, a plain introduction written for general readers. This page sticks to the specifications the listing gives for this soft silicone taxi night lamp and does not add figures from elsewhere.

Key features

A little yellow cab, glowing warm

The soft silicone taxi night lamp is built around its shape. The listing describes a rounded cab with a smiling face that glows through the front, so the light appears to come from the character itself. Checkered decals run along the sides, and the red TAXI roof sign makes the cab easy to recognise across a room. The listing says the silicone diffuses the LED evenly, so the glow is smooth with no harsh hotspots.

Tap to cycle three brightness levels

There are no buttons, switches or remotes to lose. According to the listing, the soft silicone taxi night lamp is touch-controlled: tap the body and it cycles through bright, medium and dim, then back again. The three levels cover real uses in a Bangladeshi home, from playtime and winding down to a calm bedside glow for sleeping. A parent checking in at midnight can dim it with one fingertip without switching on the room light. The listing does not describe a timer or auto-off, so the lamp stays at the level you last tapped.

Soft food-grade silicone body

The whole body is soft, food-grade silicone. The listing says it is the same family of material used in baby products and kitchenware, with a matte, skin-friendly feel. The body squishes under a squeeze and springs back, which makes it comfortable for children to hold, hug or roll around the bed. Because the body is silicone rather than glass or ceramic, the listing notes that the soft silicone taxi night lamp will not shatter if it is knocked off a nightstand in the dark. The surface wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Rechargeable and cord-free

The soft silicone taxi night lamp has a rechargeable lithium battery inside, and the listing describes it as glowing with no cord attached. You can move it from the bedside to the hallway for a night-time trip, take it to a relative’s home or pack it for a family visit. The listing states the battery is included, but it does not give battery capacity, charge time or runtime, so those figures are not claimed here. Charge fully before first use, and follow the maker’s instructions for charging.

Built for nurseries and gifts

The soft silicone taxi night lamp was made with bedtime in mind. In a nursery it works as a gentle presence for night feeds and check-ins. The listing describes it as the brave little light that makes the dark less scary in a kid’s room. Children often bond with objects that look back at them, and this one looks back with headlights for eyes. For birthdays, baby showers or a new big-kid room, charge the soft silicone taxi night lamp before you hand it over, and note that gift wrapping is not a promised service.

Specifications

Here are the key figures for the soft silicone taxi night lamp, as set out below.

These are the listed specifications for the soft silicone taxi night lamp, taken from the product listing.

How to use / set up

Setup for the soft silicone taxi night lamp is simple, because there are no buttons, menus or remotes to learn. Start by charging the lamp fully before first use, and follow the maker’s instructions for charging. Keep charging equipment somewhere dry and out of children’s reach while it is in use.

Once the soft silicone taxi night lamp is charged, tap the body to cycle through the three brightness levels. Use bright for playtime and winding down, medium for a calm bedside glow, and dim for the lowest warmth through the night. Because the battery is inside, you do not need to plan around a cable at bedtime.

Place the soft silicone taxi night lamp on a nightstand, nursery shelf or bookshelf, somewhere a child can reach safely but cannot easily pull over. Check that it sits level before you leave it on a ledge. Keep it clear of bedding or soft items that could cover the body and block the warm light.

Clean the soft silicone taxi night lamp with a damp cloth, as the listing describes. Wipe gently and dry the body afterwards. Follow the maker’s instructions for any other cleaning.

For storage, keep the lamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and damp corners, which matters during the humid months in Dhaka. If you store the lamp for a long period, check its charge before you need it, because the listing gives no runtime figures.

Build a simple routine for the soft silicone taxi night lamp. Charge it when it runs low, and top it up before a trip or a visit. The listing does not give charge time or runtime, so check the battery at home before you rely on the lamp for a long night. Trying each brightness level once before bedtime is a sensible habit for any new night light.

Compatibility and what is in the box

The listing confirms a rechargeable lithium battery as part of the soft silicone taxi night lamp, and it describes the lamp as glowing with no cord attached. Beyond the battery and the 0–5W, 3V rating in the specifications table, the listing gives no further power details.

The listing does not confirm whether a charging cable comes with the lamp, so ask our team before ordering if charging equipment matters to you. This page does not claim one either way, and it does not list any other items supplied with the lamp.

The listing places this product in the Lamps & Decor Lights category and lists its type as a night light. It does not describe compatibility with other devices, cables or accessories, so treat the soft silicone taxi night lamp as a standalone night light.
