Xiaomi SM005 overview: what the listing confirms

The product listing names this item Xiaomi Mi TS Polarized Sunglasses SM005, with the brand Xiaomi and the model SM005. We file the Xiaomi SM005 in our Smart Glasses & Eyewear category, so it sits alongside other eyewear in our range. The listing gives the warranty as 7 Days.

The product name lists the lens type as polarized. The listing gives no further lens details, so this page does not describe lens grades or coatings. If lens details matter to your choice, ask us before you order the Xiaomi SM005 so you work from confirmed information rather than assumptions.

Many buyers in Dhaka look for sunglasses that work through a commute, a market visit or an evening out without fuss. Heat and humidity are part of daily life in many parts of Bangladesh, so comfort, a stable fit and simple care matter as much as the name on the label. Whether the Xiaomi SM005 suits that routine depends on your face shape, how often you wear sunglasses and whether you expect smart features, which the listing does not confirm. The sections below are written to help you decide with those facts in view.

Key features

Polarized lens type, as listed

The product name identifies the Xiaomi SM005 as polarized sunglasses, and that is the lens type the listing gives. We have no further lens information from the listing, so we avoid claims about how the lenses perform in bright sun or on long drives. If you spend long hours in open, bright spaces, ask us about the lens details before you buy this model. Keep the lens type in mind when you compare the Xiaomi SM005 with other sunglasses in our range, because listings do not all describe their lenses in the same way.

Smart eyewear category

The listing places the Xiaomi SM005 in our Smart Glasses & Eyewear category. That placement is the only smart eyewear information we can state for this model. The listing does not describe any smart functions for this model, so this page does not promise them. Treat the Xiaomi SM005 as sunglasses first. If a smart feature is important to your plans, compare the listing closely against the other smart eyewear in our range before you decide.

Brand and model identification

The brand is Xiaomi and the model is SM005. Both appear in the product name and the listing attributes, which makes identification simple. Eyewear listings can look alike, so match the model number SM005 against your order before delivery. Shoppers who search for the Xiaomi SM005 land on this listing, and the model number is the quickest way to confirm you have the right product. Keep the model number in your order message so our team can check it quickly.

Comfort and everyday fit

Comfort depends on how a pair sits on your face through a full day. Look for a frame that rests evenly on the nose, does not press on the temples and stays put when you turn your head. In the humid months, a stable fit matters more than many buyers expect, because sunglasses that slide down can become a constant irritation. Try the Xiaomi SM005 on for several minutes before you rely on it for a long day. If the fit feels wrong at home, contact us before you wear it out.

Specifications

The table below sets out the Xiaomi SM005 specifications that the product listing provides. Only the rows shown here are confirmed, so this page does not list dimensions, weight or lens data that the listing does not give.

These are listed specifications from the product listing.

How to use / set up

The listing gives no setup steps for the Xiaomi SM005, so the guidance below is general. Before you wear the sunglasses for the first time, check the model number SM005 against your order and read any instructions that come with the product. Where the maker’s instructions cover a step, follow the maker’s instructions. If you are unsure about a step, ask our team before you use the product.

For fit, try the sunglasses on in front of a mirror and check that they sit level on your nose and do not press against your temples or ears. A pair that slides down in the heat or sits crooked can be uncomfortable on a long day in Dhaka. Look at the frame from the front and the side. If one side sits higher than the other, adjust the fit gently or ask our team whether the Xiaomi SM005 suits your face before you wear it outdoors.

For care, wipe the lenses with a soft, clean cloth rather than a dry tissue or the hem of a shirt. Dust and sweat leave residue that can make lenses look hazy, so a quick wipe after each day outdoors helps. Store the sunglasses in a dry place away from direct heat, such as a car dashboard in summer. Humidity can affect any eyewear left in a damp bag, so keep the Xiaomi SM005 in a dry case when you are not using it.

Make a short habit of looking over the frame and lenses each week. Check for anything that feels loose, rough or out of place, and stop wearing the pair if something seems wrong. Handle the sunglasses with both hands when you put them on and take them off, so the frame is not bent out of shape. Keep a spare soft cloth in your bag for quick wipes during busy days in town.

For first use, put the sunglasses on in a shaded area before you step into bright sun. This lets you check comfort without rushing. If anything feels wrong, such as pressure, a misaligned frame or a view that does not match what you expected, stop wearing the Xiaomi SM005 and contact us using the details at the end of this page.

Dhaka commutes often mean standing in crowds, moving between a rickshaw and a shop front, and then waiting in a warm office. Plan where the sunglasses will sit during those stops. A pocket or a dry case is safer than a hot dashboard or a bag full of loose keys, and a quick check of the frame after each busy day helps you spot problems early.

Compatibility and what is in the box

The listing does not state compatibility with phones, other devices or accessories, so this page makes no compatibility claim for the Xiaomi SM005. If you plan to use the sunglasses with another product or in a particular setting, check the details with our team first. At present the listing confirms only the brand, model, category and warranty value.

The listing does not list the package contents, so this page does not describe what is in the box. If you need to know which accessories or papers come with the Xiaomi SM005, ask before you order. We would rather tell you clearly what is not confirmed than guess.

When the parcel arrives, compare the model number on your order with the model SM005 named in the listing. Look for the brand Xiaomi and the product name Xiaomi Mi TS Polarized Sunglasses SM005 on your order record, and match the sunglasses to your order before you accept delivery.

If you are gathering details for a purchase on behalf of someone else, write down the brand, model and category before you ask us. A short note like this keeps the conversation focused on the listing and avoids confusion with similar eyewear.

Confirmed by the listing: brand Xiaomi, model SM005, category Smart Glasses & Eyewear, and warranty 7 Days. Not confirmed by the listing: smart functions, package contents, and compatibility with other products. For the maker’s own product information, visit the maker’s website, which is an external site we do not control.

Who should buy it in Bangladesh

If you want a Xiaomi pair of polarized sunglasses for daily errands in Dhaka, the Xiaomi SM005 is a sensible place to start. It suits someone who wants one pair for a commute, a walk to the market and a weekend outdoors, and who prefers a known brand. Check the fit on your face before you buy, because fit matters as much as any listed detail.

If you ride as a passenger in heavy traffic, whether in a rickshaw or on a motorcycle, you may want sunglasses that sit securely through a longer journey. The listing does not describe fit for those uses, so try how this model sits at home first and keep the return timings in mind if the pair does not suit you.

If you are shopping for a gift, the Xiaomi SM005 can suit a friend or relative who already wears sunglasses and likes a polarized model. Because the listing gives limited detail, confirm the model number with the recipient or with our team before you order.

If smart features are your main goal, this model may not be the right choice, because the listing does not confirm any smart functions. Compare the listings of the other smart eyewear in our range closely before you decide.

If you work long days on a tight schedule, plan your order around the delivery times in our policy. Delivery usually takes 1–3 days inside Dhaka city and 2–5 days outside Dhaka, so order early if you need the sunglasses for a specific event. Cash on delivery means you can check the parcel before you pay for it.

If you travel between Dhaka and other districts, one dependable pair of sunglasses can be part of a travel kit. Pack the Xiaomi SM005 in a case of your own so it is not crushed, and allow a few days’ margin for delivery when you order.

If you move between an office and the street through the day, one pair you can put on and take off quickly suits that routine. Keep the pair in an easy place such as an outer pocket of your bag, and wipe the lenses after busy days.

If you are buying sunglasses for the first time, start with a clear idea of when you will wear them. A pair for weekend outings needs different fit checks from a pair for daily travel. Write down two or three situations, then check whether the Xiaomi SM005 suits them.

If you already use Xiaomi products and like the brand, the name may be a reason to look closer. Brand preference is a fair reason to choose, but still check the model number SM005 and the confirmed details before you order.
